Moranbah Community Childcare Survey Report
While many Moranbah families report significant difficulty accessing care, data shows that availability varies greatly across different age groups. In late 2025, the CLA engaged with Moranbah residents to identify where these gaps exist and determine the next steps for better aligning services with family needs.
Recommended Solutions for Childcare Challenges in Dysart
The Dysart community is experiencing significant challenges in accessing stable and high-quality early childhood and school-aged care services. In December 2024, the CLA commenced community engagement consultation with a goal to better understand the challenges and opportunities that exist in Dysart.

National Early Years Strategy Submission 2023
The Australian Government is developing an Early Years Strategy to shape its vision for the future of Australia’s children and their families. Recognising how critical the early years are for children’s development and continued success over their lifetime, the Strategy will aim to deliver the best possible outcomes for Australian children.
The Childcare Leadership Alliance has contributed a submission to the Early Years Strategy with our recommendations.
