Jasmine Cadd

CLA Role: Board Member

Jasmine is the Community Manager for BHP Coal where she is responsible for leading the Community Team in the delivery of social investment programs and engagement with community on key issues across Queensland and NSW.

Jasmine is a dedicated community development professional with extensive experience in both community and international development. She began her career in the international development sector, where she designed and executed projects in various regions, including Indonesia, Cambodia, PNG, Africa, and the Pacific. She now proudly engages with communities across regional Queensland through her work with BHP/BMA.

Jasmine is a firm believer in community-led initiatives that engage collaboratively to achieve outcomes., and in removing barriers for women (and men) to effectively participate in the workforce. She is very proud to have been involved in the establishment of the Childcare Leadership Alliance from the point of initial ideation, and to now be a member of the Board.

Outside of her professional life, Jasmine is married with three young children who occupy her affection and free time. On weekends, you can often find her attempting to catch up on sleep, supporting their children at swimming pools or AFL games, and diligently grocery shopping for the week ahead.

The CLA provides the opportunity to deliver a strategic and coordinated approach to the region’s childcare sector. The unique nature of this Alliance, along with the innovative approaches being explored, makes it very exciting to be involved.
