Our Vision

The Childcare Leadership Alliance (CLA) was founded in 2022 to address the childcare challenges unique to regional communities, commencing with a pilot of strategies in Moranbah and Dysart in central Queensland.

The CLA is supported by BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA), the largest employer in the region with a volunteer board comprising of representatives from the Isaac Regional Council, local business, the early learning sector, and BMA. If successful, it is hoped these initiatives will be scalable to other regional communities throughout Australia.

Our vision is to strategically enable and support the provision of high-quality, sustainable early childhood and school-age care in the Isaac Region, with initial programs piloted in the townships of Moranbah and Dysart.
